My Process for Consultations

Attorneys may contact me by email to assure my availability.  If I am being requested to act as a consultant to both counsel, I require both counsel to be present when I discuss the substance of the case.  When I act as a consultant for one counsel, I do so as though I am speaking to both counsel, providing advice that is objective and neutral, and keeping in mind there is always another story from the other party.

My Process for Judgment Reviews

Attorneys may contact me by email to assure my availability.  I require an attorney to be involved who will be preparing all pleadings for the judgment packet.  I will provide the appropriate form for the Stipulation and Order for Appointment of Judge Pro Tem for completion and modification by the attorney.  That Stipulation and Order must be processed by the court to give me jurisdiction over the matter prior to my approval of the judgment packet.

After my review and approval, counsel will be responsible for submitting the entire packet to the clerk’s office for filing.

Have Gavel, Will Travel

I do not maintain a public office for meetings.  Attorneys will arrange for meeting room, if needed.  Most of the activity will be done via email, telephone, and video.
